1. Who we are
3 W Healthcare LLC, doing business as Thrive Weight and Wellness (“Thrive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a medical weight loss practice in Coral Springs, Florida, serving patients in person and by video in Florida, and operates the website at thriveweightandwellness.com (the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site and our communications, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, prospective patients, and patients who interact with us online, by phone, or by text message.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact details — your name, mobile phone number, and email address, provided through the consultation form on our Site or given to us by phone.
- Service interest — which program you selected (for example, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, or laser lipo).
- Message content — anything you choose to send us by email or text.
- Communication preferences — whether you have consented to receive SMS text messages and/or marketing email from us, and the date and time you gave that consent.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the Site.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
Information collected during care
If you become a patient, we collect health information necessary to evaluate and treat you — medical history, medications, laboratory results, and treatment records. That information is handled as described in Section 6.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your consultation request and schedule appointments.
- Contact you by phone, text message, or email about your inquiry, appointments, and care.
- Send appointment reminders, refill reminders, and follow-up messages.
- Send promotional offers and clinic updates, where you have consented to receive them.
- Provide, evaluate, and improve our medical and wellness services.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
4. SMS / text messaging
We do not share your mobile information with third parties. No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories in Section 5 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you check an SMS consent box on the consultation form on our Site, or otherwise give us express written consent, you agree to receive text messages from Thrive Weight and Wellness at the mobile number you provided.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care. You may decline SMS and still book a consultation and be treated; we will simply reach you by phone or email instead. The SMS consent boxes on our form are never pre-checked.
We share your mobile number with our SMS delivery vendors only to the extent necessary to transmit the messages you asked for. Those vendors act on our instructions, are contractually restricted from using your number for their own purposes, and may not sell or share it.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following situations:
- Service providers. Vendors who host our Site, run our scheduling and patient records systems, process payments, deliver email and SMS on our behalf, or provide laboratory and pharmacy services. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- Healthcare operations. Licensed providers, laboratories, and pharmacies involved in your evaluation and treatment.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to respond to a government request.
- Safety. When necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Thrive Weight and Wellness, our patients, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.
Each of the categories above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Your mobile number and SMS consent are not shared with any third party for that third party’s own marketing or promotional purposes, and are not included in any business transfer for marketing use.
6. Health information & HIPAA
Protected health information that we create or receive in the course of treating you is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable Florida law, and is handled in accordance with our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to patients at intake and available on request.
Information you submit through the Site’s consultation form before you become a patient is contact and interest information, not a medical record. Please do not submit detailed medical history, diagnoses, or sensitive health details through the website form or by unencrypted email or text. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. We may use third-party analytics and advertising services that set their own cookies to measure site traffic and campaign performance.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site function. We do not use cookie or advertising data to identify individual patients or their health conditions.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and afterward as required by law, professional recordkeeping obligations, or to resolve disputes. Medical records are retained for the period required under applicable Florida law. Records of SMS consent and opt-out requests are retained for as long as we operate the messaging program, and afterward as needed to demonstrate compliance.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email and standard SMS are not encrypted channels; avoid sending sensitive health details through them.
10. Your choices & rights
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
- Marketing email. Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.
- Phone calls. Tell us on any call that you do not wish to be contacted and we will record that request.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal and medical recordkeeping requirements.
- Do not sell or share. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site and our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to them. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
